Explore Calgary With Me!

Nosehill Park

Nose Hill Park is a natural environment park that lies in the northwest part of the Calgary and is surrounded by 12 residential communities. It covers over 11 km² and is the fourth-largest urban park in Canada, and one of the largest urban parks in North America. It contains one of the only Rough Fescue grassland left on the Canadian Prairies. It has numerous hiking trails and dedicated off-leash areas. Enjoy the different varieties of trees, shrubs and wildflowers while you are out walking, biking or running. This is one of my favorite spots to take my furry friends!

City Golf Courses

Like many other Calgarians, I love to golf! Calgary is home to many beautiful golf courses. However, it is not an inexpensive sport. The City of Calgary offers 5 golf Courses at a reasonable rate. Confederation Park(9 holes), Lakeview(9 holes), Maple Ridge(18), McCall Lake(9 & 18) and Shaganappi Point(9 & 18). The city also offers golf lessons and a golf league. If your new to golf or have been at it for a while these courses offer a great opportunity to get out, practice your game while enjoy the weather at a reasonable price! My 2 favorites are Shaganappi Point and McCall Lake!

My Favourite Green Spaces

The City of Calgary boosts over 8700 Hectares of public green spaces! This includes neighborhood parks, natural areas and the river valleys. This is the equivalent of 11,000 football fields spread out citywide. My top 3 favorites are:
